The module is loaded, when the configuration file contains section [mod_equal].
This module makes sure, that the envelope sender and the first recipient of the mail envelope are distinct addresses. There is some amout of spam, where the envolope sender and recipient coincide and for some sites, there are no use cases, where the sender can coincide with the first recipient.
